Houston has implemented a "no refusal" weekend policy that enables officers to obtain warrants to draw blood from those suspected drinking drivers he refused to take a breath test. The no refusal policy has been a very effective tool in combating drunk driving and helping to prevent drunk driving accidents in the Houston area.
